| MORE BEHBEHS! |
[Nov. 13th, 2009|02:32 pm] |
Now last night my cousin Michelle had her first boy babies in her third pregnancy, and just moments ago, my cousin Nicole (her sister) just had her first girl baby in her third pregnancy as well!
IT'S BEEN A VERY EXCITING 24 HOURS!
Haven't met the new girl yet. |

| Look Who's Finally Here! |
[Nov. 13th, 2009|09:07 am] |
After a grueling 35 weeks, my cousin delivered TRIPLETS last night. They're in the NICU, but they all look chubby and pink. They have the lights down low in the room, so I didn't want to use a flash, but I took a little bit of video of each of them.
Baby #1:
Baby #2:
Baby #3:
She's closest to the entrance to the room, so the ambient light from the hall kind of messed with the camera, but she's there, I promise.
These may come down at any moment, if my cousin asks, but aren't they precious? |

Ryan Reynolds, Megan Fox, Drew Barrymore, Gerard Butler:
WAKE UP
Because you just got schooled by TAYLOR SWIFT.
That was probably the best SNL of the season.
Musical Monologue:
Scared Straight:
Oh, and quite possibly the best Twilight parody yet:

| The Tic-Tac-Toe Hustle |
[Nov. 6th, 2009|01:40 pm] |
WARNING: The following is extremly dorky, I know.
I went over to my cousin Michelle's house last night to help her start a blog to keep track of all her children. (I'd link you, but it's set on private, so no point.)
While I was there, I taught Skylar & McKenna how to win at tic-tac-toe. (On Halloween, I was playing against Skylar and it drove her crazy when I'd win.)
I know what you're saying. "Kim, nobody wins at tic-tac-toe! It always ends in a tie!"
Not so, my friends, not so. :) Although I do concede that, assuming a reasonable amount of skill, the outcome of the game is determined in the first two moves. If EITHER player puts their first mark in the center square, that game will end in a tie, unless somebody makes a mistake. HOWEVER, if the first player takes a corner space, and the second player takes ANY OTHER outside space, Player 1 is gonna win.
BEHOLD!
For these examples, X goes first and takes a corner.
If O takes another corner, X needs to go for the other two corners. Once X picks a second corner, O has to block or X will win, so X can easily take the third corner. Then X has two places to play on the next turn (shown by dotted red Xs) and O can't block both. WIN!

If O takes a side space, X needs to take the corner adjacent to the original X that is FURTHER AWAY from the O*. Once X picks a second corner, O has to block or X will win, so X can take the center square. Then X has two places to play on the next turn (shown by dotted red Xs) and O can't block both. WIN!

*If O takes a side space on the far side of the grid from X, it doesn't matter which of the adjacent corners X takes. |

| Mad Men Meets The Office |
[Nov. 3rd, 2009|02:48 pm] |
Buzz Sugar has a slideshow comparing Dunder Mifflinites to their counterparts at Sterling-Cooper.

Little disappointed that there's no comparison between Harry Crane and Alex from art school. :)
See the rest here.
(I went "huh, wha?" at the Jim/Don comparison, too, but they've actually got support!) |
